Wat Phra Si Sanphet

Located in the Grand Palace compound, the largest temple in Ayutthaya. This important monastery was founded by
King Borommatrailokanat. Used as residential palace, it became a monastery in the reign of king Ramathibodi l. The trio chedi are the best exiting example of Ayutthaya architecture. Wat Phra Si Sanphet are a model for Wat Phra Keow in Bangkok.
